After clearing 3 rounds of stringent interview process - General Aptitude, Technical round and HR round, Abdul got selected as a POMP Trainee at our Piccosoft TVM Branch on 24th August 2020. After successful completion of POMP period, he came under the payroll of our organization as Software Development Engineer (SDE 1) on 1st December 2020.

On the day he came into our Payroll, we handed him the offer letter, ID card and recognized him as employee of Piccosoft.

‘’On that day, when Abdul came home with the offer letter and ID card and showed them to me, I cannot express the happiness I had in words. My eyes were literally filled with tears by seeing his ID card that mentioned ‘Software Development Engineer (SDE 1)’. I held his hand, took him to his father and said, here’s our son – Software Engineer’’ - says Rehana – Abdul’s Mom.

She further narrates the story like this. In Abdul’s family, nobody completed 10th grade and stepped into college. Abdul’s father Muthalif is a tailor and had always been the sole bread earner of the family. Abdul has one younger brother and one younger sister. Rehana has always had a dream in her life – that all her children should go to college and earn a degree. Abdul is the first ever Graduate with a BCA degree in their family.

‘’When Abdul was a kid, he always fancied working on a computer. He took a piece of white paper, drew a computer with a keyboard and monitor and pretend played with that drawing that he worked on that Computer.’’ Now, knowing that he works in an IT Company on a real Laptop, I feel proud.’’ says Rehana.

Also, Rehana says, she has always had a dream that her Children should work in an air-conditioned office. She feels happy and fulfilled that Abdul is now working in an organization that they could have never dreamt of.

On the day he received his first salary from Piccosoft, Abdul went to a saree shop, purchased a saree for his mom. He thought, he should convey this news of his first salary to his mom, with a saree for her as a gift.

‘’At the young age of 21, my son purchases a saree for me in his first salary."
